USB Drive Repair
Posted in Data Recovery on 5th June 2014
We often see broken USB thumb drives. Often the USB plug on the memory stick is bent (breaking the connections inside) or broken off completely.
This is a disaster, especially if the USB storage device’s owner doesn’t have a backup!
In most cases we can repair these devices by re-soldering the existing USB plug or replacing it with a USB lead.
The owner of the device below was extremely pleased for us to be able to recover her data.
